You don't have to pound nails to be part of providing safe, affordable, and decent housing in DuPage County and the Chicago South Suburbs.
DuPage and Chicago South Suburbs Habitat for Humanity is partnering with local vendors to premier a Home for the Holidays market. The event will commence by celebrating a local family closing on their Habitat home. All day folks will be able to dine from local food trucks, enter to win raffle prizes, get a polaroid with Santa, purchase gifts from local vendors, and enjoy deals while shopping at ReStore. Volunteers are needed throughout the day to make sure this event is nothing short of excellent.
Volunteers are encouraged to wear red, green or holiday sweaters.
Set-Up Volunteers
- Shift from 7 AM to 8:45 AM
- Help with vendor table and event set-up
Morning Donation Volunteers
- Shift from 8:45 AM to 12:00 PM
- Collect admission donations and share program information
Morning Event Volunteers
- Shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Work the raffle table, take photos, help out Santa
Afternoon Event Volunteers
- Shift from 11:45 AM to 2:30 PM
- Work the raffle table, take photos, help out Santa
Afternoon Donation Volunteers
- Shift from 11:45 AM to 3:00 PM
- Collect admission donations and share program information
Tear-Down Volunteers
- Shift from 3 PM to 4PM
- Help with vendor tear-down and event clean-up
