Join Lake Park High School and community partners and gather for a day of giving back to the community.
Schedule:
8:15 AM - 9:00 AM: Check in.
9:00 AM: Safety talk and explanation of work.
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Various community activities including fence painting, closing out the community gardens, and garbage pickup.
12:30 PM - 3:30 PM (OPTIONAL): Folks are welcome, but not required, to volunteer with DuPage Habitat's construction team to support with the remainder of repairs from the morning shift.
Please wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty or getting paint on.
The minimum age to volunteer is 13 with the supervision of an adult. We require one adult chaperone for every four minors participating. Each minor must bring a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian. Waivers can be found below.
