DuPage Habitat for Humanity and Hanover Park's Cultural Inclusion and Diversity Committee are partnering to continue MLK's legacy of volunteerism by making an impact in the Greenbrook Tanglewood neighborhood.
Schedule:
8:30am-9:00am: Check-in, Health Pre Screening (Confirm completion of the health questionnaire and temperature scan)
9:00am-11:30am: Various community engagement activities such as painting, trash and brush removal, and more!
Volunteers ages 14 - 17 may participate with an accompanying parent or guardian and signed waiver. Parents and guardians of minor volunteers, please include your child's name in the 'Note' section upon signing up, as the waiver is for both adults and minors. Please also register yourself and your child separately.
The address provided is where volunteers will park and complete their health checks where you will be directed to your project site upon passing the health check. Mica, the Neighborhood Revitalization Coordinator will provide your designated project location along with an orientation video prior to the volunteer day.
All volunteers will be be required to fill out the following questionnaire on the morning of the event prior to arriving at the designated project site. All volunteers will also be required to wear a mask during the volunteer day. Social distancing guidelines will be followed on site.
