DuPage Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope through its Neighborhood Revitalization program (NR). The NR program aims to serve more families by engaging the residents of neighborhoods and other community partners to revive neighborhoods and make them safe, inviting places to live. The NR program delivers a wide array of housing solutions such as preserving homes with exterior repairs; providing critical home repairs that alleviate critical health, life, and safety issues or housing code violations; rehabbing vacant and foreclosed homes to provide homeownership opportunities for low-income families, and improving the energy efficiency of homes through weatherization.
This opportunity partners with residents of the Greenbrook Court J community to clean up their neighborhood. Garbage bags will be available as will a limited number of trash pickers and work gloves.
Volunteers ages 10 - 17 may participate with an accompanying parent or guardian and sign a waiver. Parents and guardians of minor volunteers, please register yourself and your child separately and include your name in the Note section upon signing your child up.
