You don't have to swing a hammer to support affordable housing!
Join a community of DuPage women (and men) volunteering together for Habitat's annual Women Build, celebrating our strengths, having a blast and building permanent and affordable homes for dynamic, woman-led families. Women Build provides an opportunity for women and men to take proactive steps to build stronger, safer communities. Join Habitat staff to assist at the event for set up, lunch, registration, and clean up/tear down of the event. Volunteers under the age of 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
Location and Parking:
- Check-in will take place at 1311 Greenbrook Court, Hanover Park, IL
- Parking is available in the Time Out Sports Club Parking lot just east of the meeting location
What to Wear/Bring
- Upon arrival you will receive a name tag and your Women Build t-shirt
- Please make sure you dress comfortably with proper shoes to be moving items through grass, etc..
- Be mindful of the weather – these early mornings will be chilly so be sure to dress in layers.
- Dependent on what shift you signed up for you will be provided with breakfast or lunch
